Promotions Every year there are opportunities for our legal advisers to apply for promotion and this year, the career progression process was completed in January. Nick Garrish was promoted from Associate Solicitor to Partner. Nick has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since January 2009 and works within the clinical negligence department. He specialises in a broad spectrum of related cases, Rebecca Louis was promoted from Associate Solicitor to Partner. Rebecca qualified at a Brighton firm in 2005 and is currently managing the team at our Storrington office. Born and bred in Sussex, Rebecca is keen to promote local individuals and businesses. Zoë Summers was promoted from Associate Solicitor to Partner. Family law solicitor, Zoë, joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in the spring of 2012 after spending the first five years of her career working for another local firm. Zoë is Deputy Head of our family Tia Clarke was promoted from Solicitor to Associate Solicitor. Tia joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in October 2013 having worked at another local firm for three years. Tia advises clients on all aspects of family law across Sussex. Amanda Edgar was promoted from Licensed Conveyancer to Associate Solicitor. Amanda joined Mayo Wynne Baxter as head of residential property at our Brighton office in January 2015. Before joining the firm, Amanda We are pleased to announce five promotions this year – three Partners and two Associate Solicitors – which take effect on 1st April. In particular Rebecca has gained STEP membership and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly so she is well equipped to advise on all aspects of private client work. Outside of work Rebecca is mum to two young toddlers and assists with the local Steyning playgroup.
