The days are getting longer and I’ve packed away my winter woollies for another year. I would like to give a big Re: Magazine welcome to the newest member of the team…Jade Russell. Jade joins us as a marketing apprentice and will be doing a lot of our social media work. Please do say hello on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In an effort to shift some of the festive season’s excesses that have settled on my waist I have been eating more healthily and have been in touch with Harry from The Performance Project who has agreed to supply articles on health, fitness and nutrition. His first one is all about protein and a great read. Liza finally let me do another interview and I met up with Kevin Duala who has been a TV presenter on more shows than I can name although he might be best known for his time on a kids’ TV show called Blues Clues. Kevin is a really interesting guy and has an infectious positivity about him. Having let me do the interview, Liza bagged the restaurant review and had a sumptuous meal at GB1 which is a fabulous seafood restaurant at The Grand in Brighton. Definitely somewhere you should check out if you like your fish and shellfish. Laurence managed to get his hands on another Porsche to test drive and came into the office looking like the cat that got the cream with a huge grin. I think that he is starting to fancy himself as the Stig. The MWB team have given us some great contributions for this issue too. Sylvia Garcia shares with us her trip to Koblenz in Germany which looks so picturesque and is now on my list of places I’d like to visit. And Magdalene Zimnicki has shared her legendary goulash recipe which makes my mouth water. Even I have put pen to paper and compiled a list of historical April Fool’s jokes that went horribly wrong, so be careful if you are planning a prank. As always we have included some really informative pieces in this issue from a few of our expert solicitors on areas of the law that we think will be both interesting and helpful. If there are any particular legal topics you would like covered in a future issue then please let me know. This is now our 14th issue and although a lot of work goes into each issue the team here also have a lot of fun putting it together for you. We would love to get your opinion on Re: Magazine so that we can make sure that we continue to produce content that you want to read. So if you spare a few moments please drop me a line at editor@remagazine. co.uk or visit our Facebook page. As always I really hope you enjoy this issue and I welcome any comments you may have so feel free to drop me a line at [email protected] or visit our Facebook page. Jason Edge Editor It is always a mad dash as we reach deadline here at Re: Magazine and as a consequence we sometimes miss the odd typo. If you spot one then please let me know, whoever spots the most does not get a prize I’m afraid but you will receive our thanks for being eagle-eyed. 3
