Rhubarb and custard panecotta
have a sweet tooth but Jo took one
for team and ordered the Rhubarb and
Custard Pannacotta which was served
with confit rhubarb, ginger snap crumb and
rhubarb jelly. I didn’t really want to miss
out so I asked for some cheese and port.
Three phenomenal cheeses arrived served
with a lip-smacking fine ruby port.
If I had to offer up some criticism (and
I am clutching at straws here) it would
be to say that the lighting could have
been a fraction softer and maybe some
different background music as this was a
little too ‘jazz’ for my liking but these are
just personal taste things and in no way
detracted from the fabulous service and
food.
If you are not a fish lover then don’t despair
as the menu included plenty of meat
options which I will no doubt try on future
visits especially the amazing looking prime
steaks and Lamb with Summer Risotto.
You may already have guessed that I love
this place and I have already booked to go
back three more times for business and for
pleasure. I honestly can’t wait!
