As I set off from home in the pouring rain at 8am on a
Sunday morning, I questioned why I had volunteered to
take part in this year’s Paddle Round the Pier. Splashing
about in the sea was surely an activity reserved for glorious
sunny days? What I had forgotten, of course, is that Team
MWB doesn’t let the small matter of bad weather interfere
with having fun and raising money for charity.
