British Best of Over 400 corporate guests from businesses across Sussex attended the charity sporting lunch with special guest, 1966 World Cup winner, Norbert “Nobby” Stiles MBE who entertained the crowd, accompanied by his son, comedian John Stiles. Guests enjoyed a three-course meal with wine, and money was raised for Rockinghorse through various fundraising activities during the afternoon, including a raffle and an auction, which included many soughtafter items such as a 1966 England World Cup winning shirt, signed by nine of the heroes from the day. Event organiser and Rockinghorse chief executive, Ryan Heal, said: “It was a real honour to have the 1966 World Cup winning legend as guest speaker at our raises thousands event, helping to entertain over 400 people and enabling us to raise a huge amount of money for Rockinghorse which is fantastic news.” The money raised will help towards the purchase of a Portable Ultrasound Unit for the Alex.
