Sussex sport At MWB we feel sport is something that brings communities together and we are rightly proud of our association with a number of the county’s great teams. Brighton & Hove Albion FC At MWB we are looking forward to our first full season as one of the club’s main sponsors despite the football season kicking off to a lacklustre start for the Seagulls. Hopefully it won’t take long for new boss Oscar Garcia to get to grips with the team following the departure of Gus Poyet over the summer. The Albion’s head coach has been reported saying “This is not the start I would have dreamed of, if I had it would not have been these three results, but it is a long season and we will improve. We are performing well, but need to be much sharper in both penalty areas, when we are attacking and defending. Brighton have brought in some new players to bolster the squad including Republic of Ireland international and reigning FAI Player of the Year, Keith Andrews, on a season-long loan from Championship rivals Bolton. Also donning the blue and white is former Netherlands U21 international midfielder Kemy Agustien from Swansea City on a two-year contract. 21yr old left-back Adam Chicksen joins from MK Dons, 20-yr-old Rohan Ince from Chelsea and Matthew Upson signs from Stoke following his loan period with the club last season. The squad is looking good and Garcia has the components of a great team although I’m not sure that the two in suits are going to get many games this season. 122
