ROCKET MAN
One of the many pluses of doing what I do is the opportunity to meet great people. Many of you who frequent the Moovalya Keys on the Parker strip have probably had the pleasure of meeting Christopher Christian. Maybe it was during a visit to Barb and Andrew's place or perhaps you were lucky enough to have a chance to sample some of the amazing food that Chris cooks up while he's vacationing at the river.
If you've met him you'd remember. Chris is a first rate guy and as generous as the day is long.
Over the holiday weekend a few of us were invited to the Keys for a night of fun and great food as Chris brought the newest addition to his collection of wildly successful restaurants. A concept he is simply calling The Rocket.
The Rocket is 26,000 pounds of fire breathing, pizza cooking awesomeness in the form of a custom built 26 foot pizzaria on wheels. Serving up wood-fired pizzas, amazing salads and bottled drinks, The Rocket is available for private parties, corporate events, or whatever excuse you can think of to have your own pizza restaurant in your driveway.
