SEPTEMBER 2014 VOL 1/rdp

"The greater the obstacle

the more glory in

overcoming it" - Moliere

Starting a new venture

from scratch is a task that

is never easy. If it was

easy everyone would do

it, right? Well, this little

adventure is no different and it has certainly produced it's fair share of challenges along the way, which is why I want to apologize for the current issue coming along a little later than usual. The good news, however, is that the extra time has allowed us to pack a little more content into the issue you see before you. In this issue we take a trip to the Hoover Dam by way of Lake Mohave with a fleet of over 20 boats. We also have some great features such as Bill Gibbons' incredible Sanger Alley Cat and we take a peek inside a very cool Man Cave that should be the envy of any gear head.

A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks. From stellar performances by west coast builders to the unspeakable loss of legendary boat builder, Mike Fiore our little boating community has seen it's share of highs and lows. What makes this community special, though, is the way it pulls together in both triumph and tragedy. Mike Fiore will be missed by all in the industry and I think it's safe to say that his legacy will live on in the incredible machines he created. God speed Mike, your community will miss you always.

As we move forward with the RDP newsletter we will be transferring to a monthly publication which will allow us to produce the best possible product for you, our readers.

Stay tuned, the ride has just begun!
