RDP: Thanks for sitting down with us today Ricky. How did you get involved in the marine industry?

RH: I've just had a passion for power boats since I was a kid. After doing real estate for many years I wanted to help put people into the things they want. So, I decided to take the my skills in real estate and put them into something I really wanted to do, which is the powerboat business.

RDP: What made you choose Havasu for your business?

RH: I was doing this in Florida, but powerboats are so much more of a niche there that it made more sense to come to where power boats are the main scene.

RDP: How have you seen the market change since you started this business?

RH: It's gotten a lot better. A few years ago it was hard. Banks weren't lending and the economy was just in a bad position.

RDP: So, what kind of trends are you seeing with lenders these days?

RH: Back in the day pretty much everyone was signing and driving, whereas today the banks are much more thorough. It's more like buying a house. They are lending though so it helps.

RDP: What trends are you seeing from buyers?

RH: You are definitely seeing more novice boaters coming into the market as opposed to just the hard core enthusiast of a few years ago.

RDP: What's the best part about being part of the RDP community?

RH: It's just great, everyone likes the same stuff and there's really no other website out there where it feels like a family.

RDP: Right on, Rick. Thanks again for taking the time to sit down with RDP!
