The boat is set up

similar to other Mach 26’s

with left hand drive, foot throttle

and foot trim. In looking at it you would

think it was rigged by DCB with the exception of a

few GT Performance enhancements. The rigging is as good as

it gets. It has full hydraulic steering and every gauge imaginable is in the dash.

For power SVO 540 wanted a Ford having always been a Ford fan and wanting to do something different. He wanted to build a Chevy killer, albeit with some Chevy parts. The engine block came out of Ford’s SVO division. . It’s the same engine block Bob Glidden ran in his pro stock cars during his heyday. The block has a four bolt splayed main, has been studded and was bored out 4.5 inches. The 4.25 inch stroke Crower crank was built with Chevy rod journals specs, so as to run Chevy Carrillo rods. The snout of the Crank is also Chevy providing the larger diameter and strength needed for the blower motor. . It has a hydraulic roller cam and roller rockers.
