Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) provides quality programs, products, and services to support active duty military,

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the cover of this issue highlights MCCS’s Behavioral
Health Program whose goal is to support mission readiness by keeping Marines and their families
mentally and emotionally strong. For more information about Behavioral Health’s programs and
activities, see pages 10-11.
CELEBRATE MOTHER’S DAY
Mother’s Day is Sunday, 14 May. Let MCCS help you make MOM’S DAY extra special. Head over to
the MCX as you look for her special gift. Take advantage of our Mother’s Day Sales, price match
guarantee, and shopping is always TAX FREE! On that special day, treat her to a delicious Champagne
Brunch at The Clubs at Quantico. We’ll take care of all the cooking, serving, and cleaning while Mom
enjoys time with her family! Then stroll on over to the Bowling Center for the Mother’s Day Special.

GEARING UP FOR GOLF
Join us in May at the Medal of Honor Golf Course for outdoor fun on a beautiful course. Be sure to
attend one of our special events this month, which include Adult Group Lessons, Dads & Kids Golf
Camp, Short Game Clinic Series, Unlimited Range Day, and more! See page 22 for details.

Can you believe Summer is right around the corner? Are you as fit as you want to be? Why not
participate in the 5% Weight Loss Challenge at BPAC? How about the kids, will they have plenty to
do this summer to keep them active? Registration opens 2 May for the Youth Sailing Camp and the
Quantico 50M Pool opens 27 May at 1100. For more information about Semper Fit and Recreation
