One of the College’s major strengths is working with the
disabled community. Students helped to deliver Ayrshire
Sportsability’s annual festival of sport, a focal point for
disability sport in the region and a highlight for students
who coached 600 young people in eight different activities
across four days. Students supported lead coaches to
deliver each sport, helped groups of children to take
part in each of the sporting activities, and encouraged
participation.

teaches professionals what kind of things to look out for if
they suspect someone may be a victim of abuse. Training
provided by Medics Against Violence showed students
how to raise the issue with clients and how to give
