Trigger Finger Pro (TFP) is a hardware/ software hybrid that uses a
square, silver and black control surface to act as a trigger and control front-end to a range of software titles to which its purchase provides access. At the heart of TFP is a sequencer to which lanes of
sounds can be added that, in turn, can be triggered from the control
surface’s pads and manipulated from its onboard sliders and dials.
Intuitive real-time and step-time sequencer. Independent pads
and control banks provide huge performance possibilities. Generous content offered via downloads at no extra cost.
Final Touch’s six devices (activated, reordered and selected in the bottom pane) consist of two EQs, a reverb, a multiband compressor, a stereo imager and a maximiser, the first three
able to operate in stereo or mid/ side mode. The fourband Dynamics module delivers per-band compression
with a ratio of up to 8:1, with up to 100ms of Attack and 2s
of Release. Its crossovers are adjusted by dragging, which simply never gets tired. Excellent sound quality and precision. Touch
interface works well. Good value.
