City Awakening A New Initiative What would it look like in your city – if the Baptist, the Methodist, the Church of God, the independent evangelical church, black and white congregations, all simultaneously, called for a revival in your city? Each church, hosting a member of the simultaneous revival team, and yet, each church connected to the efforts of the other. This is a different kind of crusade – not a single event at one location, but a single event at multiple, simultaneous locations. All combined with prayer-walking, prayer gatherings that reach across denominational lines, prayer strategies – and tracks for youth and children. Would your city be interested in such an endeavor? It’s a new idea. PROJECT PRAY and a group of pastors from across denominational lines are looking for a city to be a pilot project. For more information call 855-842-5483. City Vision Coaching There is a new stirring across the land – in the direction of prayer and unity – with an eye on the need for intentional evangelism. Virtually everyone agrees that what is needed is a national great awakening, a God-coming moment. The Holy Spirit stirs over the lives of obedient people committed to God’s purposes. So much city effort is focused on tactical, short-term events, when a long-term, multiyear strategy is needed. Want to learn more? Join a four-session consultation with Doug Small, and the Prayer-Connect Community Leadership Network endeavor. As many as a half-dozen cities will join the call to share and hear principles that move them into a strategic process.
