Juniors and Cadettes will come and enjoy a fun schedule of getting back to the heart of Camping Basics. They will make fire, enjoy campfire cooking, experience nature and take what they have learned and compete for the Camp Challenge Cup. Units will work together as a team to compete in a relay, answer trivia and score points to be the first Camp Cup Winners. We will also sing campfire songs, make crafts, share SWAPS, and enjoy camping traditions, just with some extraordinary Camp Basic Flare!

Girls will be completing steps to multiple badges, they will need to complete the rest of the steps on their own to earn the badges. Juniors will complete the Camper badge.

Juniors & Cadettes get Back to Basics Fergus Falls, MN

Let’s get off the beaten path and go back to when we didn’t have all the electronics and every day accessories that we have today. Learn how to start a fire, make lanterns out of tin cans, safe knife handling, outdoor cooking skills and knot tying. These are just a few of the things that will be found at Camp 101.

Important: Eat dinner before arriving. Wear closed toe/heel shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring tent, sleeping bag, pillow, pjs and toiletries.
