Opening Date:

• Opening date is the first day registrations will be processed for an event.

• You may submit paper registrations prior to the opening date, it is then held until the opening date.

• Submitting registrations before the opening date does not mean you will be guaranteed registration for the event.

• Payment (event fee or deposit) is required with registration submission. Incomplete event registrations will not be

processed.

Closing Date:

• Closing date is the last day registrations will be accepted (to be received in Program Registrar office). This deadline is

enforced so we can be prepared for the appropriate number of girls. For girls to have the best possible experience, we need

this time to properly prepare for supply purchases, venue confirmation, Program Aide/volunteer scheduling and other tasks.

• Registrations received after an event is closed will be returned to the adult contact noted on the form.

• An event will stay open for registrations until the closing date or until all spots are filled, which ever comes first.

Registering for an Event or Learning Opportunity:

• Registration forms and payment must be received into Program Registrar office in Fargo, ND or submitted online on the

closing date.

• Phone or email registrations are not accepted.

How to Register:

• Online – register online at www.gsdakotahorizons.org. Full payment via Credit/Bank Card is required to complete your

registration online for events with Girl or Adult fees.

• US Mail or in-person – submit completed registration form with full payment to:

• Fax – registration form with credit card payment may be faxed to 701-293-7962, Attn: Program Registrar.

Payment:

• Online:

* Full fee payment is due upon submission for online registrations.

• Paper Registrations:

* Payments for paper registrations will be processed upon receipt of registration form, after the opening date has passed.

* Full fee payment is due upon submission for paper registrations.

* Check, credit card and money orders are accepted. Make checks payable to Girl Scouts—Dakota Horizons.

* A separate registration form and payment are required for each event.

* One payment or check per registration form.

* Dakota Certificates (for girl fees only) and Financial Assistance may be applied in addition to check, credit card or

money order payment.

Financial Assistance:

• Girls and adults may be eligible for financial assistance. Parent or guardian must complete the Financial Assistance

Application Form to be submitted with the paper registration form. Financial assistance cannot be applied to online

registrations. Financial assistance forms may be found online at www.gsdakotahorizons.org.

Participants with Special Needs:

• Please list any special needs (dietary, activity restrictions, allergies, etc.) on the registration form.

Policy of Non-Discrimination:

• No individual will be discriminated against because of race, color, national origin, age, handicap, or socioeconomic status.
