Blue Microphones has launched the newly updated and enhanced Essentials Series , which features the Baby Bottle SL .
Building on the original Baby Bottle , the SL model features improved sound with warmth and clarity to capture the character of each instrument and performer . The Baby Bottle SL also features an updated aesthetic design and combines the sound of vintage microphones with the versatility to record any sound source .
At its foundation , the Baby Bottle SL starts with Blue ’ s proprietary , hand-tuned capsule . A gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm and twin-machined brass backplate design creates the signature warmth and presence . A custom discrete , Class-A circuitry adds to its quietness and it features a new switchable high-pass filter and -20dB pad .

RCF SUB 9007-AS Subwoofer
RCF has launched the SUB 9007-AS , a 2 x 21-in . active subwoofer for live sound applications . Featuring two high power , hyper-vented 21-in . neodymium woofers with 4-in . inside-outside voice coils , the cabinet is powered by a 7,200 W digital amplifier . The SUB 9007-AS is designed to perform in demanding situations with a 143dB max SPL output .
In order to dissipate the heat generated by the 4-in . voice coil , RCF developed a ventilation system that offers improved thermal dissipation and low power compression .
This cabinet is powered by two 3,600 W digital amplifier modules , and includes a new generation DSP within the cabinet . The DSP allows control of soft clipping limiters , RMS limits , amplitude , and phase equalization . From the encoder on the input panel , users can adjust gain , low pass and high pass crossovers , delay , phase , and cardioid equalization .

Yorkville Elite Series EF15P & ES18P Loudspeakers
Yorkville Sound has updated its flagship Elite Loudspeaker Series . This is a complete redesign of the Elite Series for 2017 , with new construction materials , proprietary woofers and horn drivers , redesigned horns , and a new amplifier design . Yorkville also introduced an iOS and Android control app to help users fine-tune the EQ and limiter settings via Bluetooth connectivity .
The EF15P ( replacing the EF500P ) delivers increased power , a lower THD rating , and is 22 per cent lighter at 64 lbs . Also new to the EF15P is multi-band limiting and four new user-selectable playback / performance modes for greater flexibility and control in live sound applications .
The ES18P ( replacing the LS801P ) also sees significant upgrades to the cabinet design , the proprietary 18-in . cast frame long excursion woofer with 4-in . voice coil , and the addition of three DSP-based preset modes for fine tuning the bass tone for any application or environment .
