PixelFLEX has introduced of the weather-rated FLEXStorm LED video technology . Designed specifically to overcome the challenges associated with traditional outdoor LED video displays , FLEXStorm utilizes an intelligent , auto-correcting light sensor control system to ensure the ideal brightness at all hours of the day .
The FLEXStorm is designed to withstand adverse weather conditions while still providing optimal performance . With its adjustable sensors that communicate directly with the cabinet ' s control system , FLEXStorm has variable brightness offerings between 6500-7500 nits . Additionally , using cloud-based content management , updating the FLEXStorm is simple and the fully front-serviceable panels allow for quick access to the electronics and data control for any onsite service . Available in multiple cabinet sizes , FLEXStorm data and power connections are 100 per cent water tight .

Philips Vari-Lite VL6000 Beam
Philips Lighting has added the VL6000 Beam to its Vari-Lite range of intelligent entertainment fixtures .
The Philips VL6000 Beam is a mid-air effects light with a large 19-in . front aperture . It uses a new exclusive Philips ellipsoid reflector array system , producing a retro style searchlight effect from a high output column of light with a 6.4-degree beam angle .
Reminiscent of the Philips Vari-Lite VL5 , the VL6000 Beam merges a number of new and old features . The VL6000 Beam offers 18 direct colours from three colour wheels as well as colour mixing to achieve up to 55 combinations , including coppery gold and pastel colours and numerous splitcolour effects . The exclusive Cloak Transition Generator ( CTG ) system can be used to create auto-timed fades between colour combinations . This characteristic allows programmers to discretely change colours during slower moments .
