The City of Rouyn-Noranda in western Québec contracted AV integration company XYZ Cultural Technology to add some vitality to its city hall building and the adjacent Citizenship and Cooperation Square after dark .
The brief called for two lighting systems – one to light the outside of the city hall building and the second to light Citizenship and Cooperation Square . Both systems needed to be discreet and well adapted to the surroundings . The lighting upgrade consists of IP-rated Elation Professional LED lighting , including 29 ELAR Q1 colour-changing par lights , five Elar EXTQW Flood HP colour-changing wash lights , and a SixPar 300 IP colourchanging par fixture .
For the production of Onegin at Vancouver ’ s BMO Theatre Centre , designer John Webber used an all-LED rig of ETC ColorSource fixtures . Onegin , an original musical based on a Tchaikovsky opera and a poem by Pushkin , played on the theatre ’ s thrust stage . Webber worked with set designer Drew Facey to meet the complex demands of the ambitious musical . For it , he found no need to supplement the basic rig of 120 ColorSource engines that included 12 CYC attachments , 24 Fresnels , four zooms , and a mixture of lens tubes . The production also featured seven large chandeliers and 40 industrial-style cage lamps .

For Halloween 2016 , projection expert Scott Guy at EMD used AV Stumpfl Wings Vioso media server software to calibrate , warp , and blend scary graphical imagery onto the façade of Toronto ’ s Casa Loma as part of Liberty Entertainment Group ’ s Legends of Horror . A highlight of the production was the 3D projection on the 90,000-sq . -ft . exterior of the castle , which brings the characters of the storyline and the walls of the castle to life . Wings Vioso was used to blend four 20K HD projectors across the building and warp the video image to fit the architecture .
