AN AFFINITY WITH
DOOR-STOP
Avocet Hardware has announced a deal with Door-Stop
International that will see the UK’s favourite composite
door manufacturer stock its full range of Affinity hardware.
The range will be available on 3-day composite doors ordered via
www.door-stop.co.uk
and incorporates
hinges, locks, door
bolts, handles, letterplates, knockers and
numbers.
Key products include
Avocet’s ABS snap-secure
lock and the Affinity 3D
adjustable butt-hinge.
The ABS lock is the only
retrofit product on the
market to have both TS007
3-star rating and Sold
Secure SS312 Diamond
accreditation. In addition,
both products, along with
the Affinity door bolt, are
included under Secured By
Design accreditation.

The system has been
engineered to provide a
maximum sash weight of
100Kg on bottom running
doors, or a respectable 80Kg
on top runners. VBH advise
that the bogie assembly
feature gives ample height
adjustment to aid installation and large diameter
wheels and lateral guides,
provide extremely smooth
running even with such a
high weight capacity.
The roller track has been
designed to provide protection against the wheels
becoming accidentally
disengaged.
