Monkey Tail
Proves a Hit
Since their launch this summer, the greenteQ Monkey
Tail espag handle and Dummy Casement Stay have
proved to be real hits with VBH’s customers.
VBH advise that the
fact that the handle is
designed specifically
as an espagnolette
handle, rather than
being modified from an
existing casement fastener is an important
factor in the success.

the unsightly machining
marks associated with the
modification of casement
fasteners. The backplate is
a bespoke precision cast
component, which means
it looks great and has the
dimensional consistency
necessary for modern window production lines.

window fixing device – The Snapper.
The Snapper is a
uniquely designed
device used by window
installers and fabricators to help secure a
window frame in to the
recess of the brickwork.
The Snapper ‘bites’ into
the surrounding building
material whilst being
fitted eliminating the
need to drill through the
frame, and allowing the
window to be fitted fully
glazed.
Available for over 20 years,
the Snapper is an invaluable,
easy to use device, allowing a
glazed window of any size to
be securely fitted in place.
Installers use up to seven
Snappers to fit the frame at
600mm intervals to the inner
edge of the frame before
inserting the frame and
allowing adjustment in the
aperture, before sealing and
pointing is completed.
The Snapper is manufactured from stainless steel,
with serrated tongues which
fix to the frame and reduce
installation time by up to
50%. They can be used on all
PVCu, timber and aluminium
frames.

decorative item that fits to
the bottom of the opening
sash to replicate a casement stay and peg, giving
a modern window a very
traditional appearance.
