It is not recommended as the primary fixture for patio sliders or doors, although it can be used in conjunction with other fixtures to enable doors to be held in place whilst adjustment and final fixings are being completed - enabling the fitter to work freely. 2. It isn’t necessary to use the snapper on the bottom of the frame, just the sides and top. 4. The glazed frame completely can be inserted. 3. Depending on the size of the window it is recommended to space the snapper approximately 600mm apart positioning the snapper where the frame has the greatest strength. 1. Screw the Snapper to the inside edge of the window frame with the glass in place. 5. The Snapper grips the masonry holding the window in place. 7. Correction and adjustment of the frame in the aperture can now take place. 6. Tolerance of 1-15mm (resisting movement in the opposite direction). 8. Sealing and pointing can now be completed. Fitting time is reduced up to 50%. SENTINEL FIXINGS LTD Tel: 0118 979 3585 Fax: 0118 989 0266 www.thesnapper.co.uk Email:[email protected]
