FRUITS OF INVESTMENT
A Liverpool-based value added home building products company is preparing for its biggest ever presence at this May ’ s FIT Show .
ODL Europe plans to showcase the results of its recent investment in plant and facilities at its Bootle Factory , and its expansion into supplying a whole door solution under the Aperture Solutions brand .
The company has enjoyed a period of sustained growth and has bucked the trend in the industry by making substantial investment , particularly in manufacturing technology at a time when many competitors in the industry have faced uncertainty due in part by Brexit and wider economic factors in the US and beyond .
At this year ’ s FIT Show , the company will show off its new blind product brand , Blink . This innovative and stylish enclosed blind system is revolutionising how doors are configured and is suitable for so many applications , everything from conservatories , composites , French , bi-fold and sliding patio doors , and fitted at point of fabrication or installation .
There will be a section of the ODL stand with demonstration units showing working blind assemblies and displaying the wide colour ranges that offer further customisation to home-owner tastes . The Blink range offers fabricators and installers the opportunity to add further value to their customers and drive increased profit through up-selling to an in-demand solution .
Also at the show , the Aperture Solution ’ s brand will be displaying the whole composite door solution . Aperture Solutions is a new brand for ODL and will be the spearhead for the sales of their composite door products .
As Mark Towers , ODL Europe ’ s managing director commented : “ Our investment in a much larger stand this year will really give us the opportunity to demonstrate the fruits of our recent investment and expansion as a business . Our composite doors business continues to go from strength to strength from its launch late last year , and we are also planning some exciting additional displays which we very much look forward to sharing with our customers at the show .”

WINNING STREAK
Atlas Roof Solutions Approved Installer QKS Home Improvement is on a winning streak – having scored a hat-trick of awards within a couple of months .
Adding to the National Installation of the Year award and National Houzz Service award , the Lincolnshire-based company then came out on top in January ’ s FIT Show Installation of the Year contest .
QKS was up against some tough competition with excellent installations from The Window Company , DWL Windows , McDermott Windows and Atlas Roof Solutions – a company QKS works with very closely .
“ It was the well exposed , great range of images with the product shown clearly that caught my attention ,” said CAB ’ s Adrian Toon , the competition ’ s judge .
QKS also won a FIT Show goodie bag and a pair of tickets to the show ’ s gala dinner on 24th May .

QKS was added to the shortlist of monthly winners who have the opportunity to be crowned overall Installation of the Year winner , which will be announced at the FIT Show dinner .
