BIGGEST EVER SCREWFIX LIVE
The free trade and DIY show Screwfix LIVE returns to Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre from 29th September to 1st October 2017 - for what is set to be its biggest show ever .
This year ’ s Screwfix LIVE has 170 leading trade suppliers gathering under one roof to showcase the latest products .
The event is designed to give tradespeople and serious DIYers the chance to get their hands on the best products on the market , in addition to finding out more about the newest tools and essentials from their favourite brands .
The show is set to feature live product demonstrations , competitions and event-specific offers , deals and giveaways , plus lots more for tradespeople , DIY enthusiasts and their families .

Screwfix recently celebrated the opening of its 500th UK store . Based in Enfield , north London , the store brought 15 more jobs to the local community , bringing the UK Screwfix team to over 10,000 employees .
The retailer ’ s expansion continues to bring Screwfix closer to even more tradesmen and women and it plans to have a network of around 600 stores in the next couple of years .

COASTLINE IS WORTH ITS SALT
A new range of stainless steel door hardware branded ‘ Coastline ’ has been added to the greenteQ range from hardware specialist VBH .
It comprises 92PZ door handles , letterboxes , butt hinges and door knockers and was developed in response to feedback from customers who required a stainless steel furniture suite for installations in coastal
and / or industrial regions in the UK and overseas .
All Coastline furniture is produced from corrosion resistant and hard-wearing austenitic stainless steel and is subjected to in excess of 1,000 hours neutral salt spray testing to BS EN ISO 9227:2012 .
The range - available in brushed or polished stainless steel and polished PVD gold and chrome , with satin and polished stainless steel
hinges - is already proving popular with manufacturers and installers of doors of all materials , including PVCu , composite , timber and aluminium .

New headquarters opens
Over 100 business leaders and guests attended the opening of a new headquarters for Purplex , the PR and digital agency for the glazing industry .
The building is part of a £ 1m investment by parent company the Ascot Group , founded by managing director Andrew Scott in 2004 .
The headquarters was officially opened by MP John Penrose , a former minister for heritage and parliamentary under-secretary of state for culture and media . John said he met Andrew Scott
ten years ago . He said : “ The thing that always impresses me about Andrew is the level of energy and ambition . The rate of growth at Purplex gives an indication of his determination and drive .”
The new HQ gives the group 10,000 sq ft office space across three sites in London and Bristol , with plans to expand the current team from 58 to 100 employees over the next year .
