STOKE ‘BUSINESS OF
THE YEAR’ NOMINATION
Stoke on Trent based,
Lister Trade Frames
has been nominated
as a finalists in the
North Staffordshire and
South Cheshire Sentinel Business Awards
for “Business of the
Year” 2015.
Mark Warren, Managing
Director, Lister commented:
“We’ve operated in Stoke
since the mid-seventies and
have built up the business
from humble beginnings.
Being recognised for this
top award by a panel of
leading business judges is a
great tribute to all the hard
work over the last year.”
As the area’s leading
manufacturer of aluminium,
PVCu and composite glazing products, Lister currently employ 116 people and
generated £10.75 million
turnover in 2014.
“Our workforce is predominantly from Stoke and we
have an excellent relation-
ship with a local training
firm who provide us with
a stream of apprentices,”
said Mark. “We’ve also
established great relationships with local suppliers,
businesses and charities.
Stoke is our home and we
try wherever we can to give
back to the city.”
In 2014, Lister made significant investment into the
business with the support
of a Regional Growth Fund
grant, enabling the business
‘It’s a team effort’
to expand with new innovative products and services.
2015 promises to be another pivotal year for Lister,
as they continue to expand
their product portfolio with
a range of PassivHaus products and high end glazing
solutions.
The Sentinel Business
Awards showcases the area’s
best businesses and people,
so to be selected as a ‘Business of the Year’ finalist has
given Listers a real boost.
“It’s a team effort and our
staff have helped fellow
Directors and me build a
business worthy of this
recognition, and we’re really
appreciative.” Mark comments.
