Proving a Successful Venture
Andrew Nichols, owner of Olympus Roofing was so intent on taking on what he believes to be the best tiled
roofing system on the market; the Guardian Warm Roof system, he set up his own manufacturing facility in
Newton Abbott, Devon to supplier the roofing system to installers in and around the local Somerset area.
Previously, Andrew had
been working for one
of the country’s largest
conservatory systems
manufacturers and he
couldn’t help noticing that a new breed
of roofing systems
was coming in to the
market. Tiled roofing
systems were becoming
more popular and the
Guardian Warm Roof
system was, in his mind
the one system which
was coming out on top.
Andrew convinced Guardian that he should be the
company’s exclusive Devon
based fabricator, commenting he recalls: “I managed
to persuade Guardian that
we had the enthusiasm, the
knowledge, the experience
and the facilities to be able
