Based in Falkirk, Scotland,
Sealco maintains a huge selection
of stock with more than 4,000
product lines, all ready to be
dispatched for next day delivery across mainland UK. Trades

industry hardware brands including; Yale, Hoppe, Trojan, GU,
Max6mum Security, Lockmaster
and Maco.
Company Background
Established in 1997 by managing director Derek Malcolm, both
he and his brother Alan, Sealco’s
Sales Director have a long history
of working within the window and
door industry, bringing a wealth
of product expertise and experience of finding the right product
to give customers.
The business also has dedicated
staff to assist with PVCu and timber problems. They are committed
specialists who can give an exact
answer to which hinges, handles
or lock is needed, or can give advice on everything from the most
economical manufacturing techniques to helping out with router
and jig hire for joiners.
The business’ Sales Administrators all have experience in builders’ merchants or the window and
door industry, and have extensive
knowledge across the whole of
the Sealco product range.
Accreditations
and Awards
Sealco is a part of the CMS
Innovation Hub in Cumbernauld,
alongside Yale, Sheerframe and
Saint Gobain, which shows the
most up to date energy saving
products manufactured by the best
construction and supply firms. It
aims to make the latest technologies available to the construction
industry to ensure that they can
create designs that are as energy
efficient as possible.
Last year, Sealco hosted a CE
Marking for Timber seminar for
local authorities and the industry,
with expert guidance and presentations from the notified body
for CE Marking, Build Check. It
served to clear up confusion about
new CE Legislation and offered
advice to companies on how to
comply.
Marketing and Product
Promotional Focus
Sealco’s hardware range also
extends to the more pioneering
products on the market, including
the Imago Lift & Slide door by
Italian hardware company AGB,
as well as PC Henderson’s sliding
door systems and it recently hosted part of the Imago launch tour
across the UK, to promote the new
innovative timber lift & slide door
into the UK market.
Sealco isn’t just for big trade
order, it offers a part matching
service so if a customer is looking
for a single item for a repair job,
Sealco is happy to order it.
As for the future, Sealco is making its FIT Show debut in 2016,
giving the opportunity for Sealco’s expert team to chat about its
exciting range of products and its
commitment to deliver the right
products quickly and easily.
Company Ethos
Talking to companies is another
of Sealco’s tricks of the trade. Not
just to give product and installation advice, but also to learn about
what fabricators and installers
need from hardware. It then works
closely with major lock and hardware companies to develop new
