the company’s new digital marketing direction.
With a focus on online tips
and advice for tradespeople on
products and industry changes,
Window Ware is doing everything
it can to meet the needs of its

Company Background
Window Ware was established in
1987, aiming to supply fabricators
with hardware the very next day.
At the time, this was unique to
the market and provided a service
to customers’ that was previously
unrivalled.
Although Window Ware originally supplied to fabricators, it has
since expanded its clientele to
installers, tradesmen, construction
workers and the remedial market,
whilst keeping its loyal fabricators.
Sarah Binns, Marketing Services Manager Window Ware said:
“Having run a trade counter since
1987, at Window Ware we have
always been able to keep in close
contact with our customers, and
we constantly review our product offer, ensuring it meets their
needs and the ever changing environment they face. In fact, during
2014 we introduced 15 new rang-
es, and sourced 1383 non stocked
items, just because our customers
asked for them.”
Other Associated
Companies
Window Ware is part of The
Arran Isle group of companies; a
global enterprise with over 1,000
employees.
Current Promotions
Window Ware is currently
developing a series of fitting
instructions for tradespeople.
These ‘How to’ guides, (some of
which can be seen throughout Pro
Installers issues, for this month’s
see opposite).
The guides are an effort from
the distributor to further hel p its
customers as well as building up
Window Ware’s online presence
and content for the website. The
company is also working on
building an online technology
aid help centre and the ‘How to’
guides are a first step towards
this.
Sarah adds: “We want to share
our expert knowledge as specific
technical hardware knowledge
can be really different to what installers are used to, especially for
one man bands. We aim to give
a helping hand to installers and
tradesmen on what can often be a
difficult part of their job.”
As well as in Pro Installer, the
guides are also available on media
platforms such as Pinterest and
Youtube.
The company has a new website
due to launch at the end of July, it
will aim to be more user friendly,
easy to navigate and simple to use;
the journey through the site will
be a similar set up to most major
shopping sites.
Window Ware can also be found
on their exhibitors stand at the
Build Show in October.
Sponsors
For the second year running
Window Ware is sponsoring the
National Fenestration Awards.
However, this year the distributor is the main sponsor of the
awards.
The company is also sponsoring
Double Glazing Blogger for the
first time.
Product Promotion
Window Ware’s latest musthave product is a high security 3*
cylinder from Eurospec, designed
to complement their existing
range of quality cylinders, which
includes 5 pin, 6 pin, and 1* high
security in key/key, key/thumbturn, keyed to differ, keyed alike,
and master key variants.
This Kitemarked cylinder
achieves TS 007 standards with
ease, alleviating the need to
replace both the cylinder and
handle, as the cylinder alone carries the full 3* rating. With many
sizes to choose from, and next day
delivery as standard, achieving
this standard is easy-peasy with
Window Ware.
In addition Window Ware is also
extending its range of window
and door finishing trims from
Kestrel, due to growing demand
for coloured windows and doors.
In addition to the white, black and
cream grains launched last year,
Window Ware are excited to stock
a wider range of colours including
chartwell green, anthracite grey,
and irish oak.

Sarah added: “We want customers to be happy, feel valued and
feel that we care about them and
we will support them by delivering the very next day. We take
pride in our service and quality.”
