However, through their website; www.windowware.co.uk they supply nationally and even have international customers. As well as delivery options, local companies are invited to use Window Ware’s online service to ‘click and collect’. Company Background Window Ware was established in 1987, aiming to supply fabricators with hardware the very next day. At the time, this was unique to the market and provided a service to customers’ that was previously unrivalled. Although Window Ware originally supplied to fabricators, it has since expanded its clientele to installers, tradesmen, construction workers and the remedial market, whilst keeping its loyal fabricators. The company is also working on building an online technology aid help centre and the ‘How to’ guides are a first step towards this. Sarah adds: “We want to share our expert knowledge as specific technical hardware knowledge can be really different to what installers are used to, especially for one man bands. We aim to give a helping hand to installers and tradesmen on what can often be a difficult part of their job.” As well as in Pro Installer, the guides are also available on media platforms such as Pinterest and Youtube. The company has a new website due to launch at the end of July, it will aim to be more user friendly, easy to navigate and simple to use; the journey through the site will be a similar set up to most major shopping sites.
