DAY AT THE DOGS
PROVES A SUCCESS
This year swapping horses
for greyhounds, Glazerite
Windows Ltd continued its
annual tradition celebrating
its 8th consecutive Race
Day at Towcester’s famous
race course, as well as 15
years in the business.
Taking place Friday June 5th,
this year’s Race Day had a record
turnout with over 200 guests arriving from far and wide. A thank
you to its loyal customer base for
its continued support over the
past 12 months, Glazerite were
the evening sponsors of all 15
dog races, donating 13 of them

Breaking the bar bill record
yet again, shattering last year’s
amount by quite some figure,
this, as well as the many sore
heads reported the next day, is a
good indication that fun was had
by all.
“It gets better and better each
year,” said Glazerite Director Jason Thompson. “We continue to
be grateful for the loyalty shown
by our customers so it’s nice to
be able to give them something
back. Not only that, it was nice
to be able to celebrate Glazerite’s
15th birthday.”
Raising money on the night
for the Because of Beau charity,
a charity set up to support the
family of Beau Mae Smith, a
young girl who was diagnosed
with Alveolar Rhabdomyossrcoma at just 18 months old, Glazerite and the Race Day’s attendees
helped raise just under £600.
