Jackloc employee
becomes naval recruit
Jackloc, based in Claybrooke Parva,
has bid a fond farewell to its
Operations Administrator, Joe
Seteram who has departed
the business for a life at sea.
Joe, 27, left Jackloc at
Christmas last year and is
now training as a Medical
Assistant Submariner in the
Royal Navy on a ten-week
intense training programme
in Cornwall.
Once he has passed-out, Joe will
complete his submariner training, after which he will have the
opportunity to be posted to any
English or allied military base
worldwide.
Joe said: “I have always wanted
to study paramedic science and
whilst there were several universities which offer a course none
were
quite the
right fit
for me.
“Training
with the Royal
Navy will be much
more practical and will give me
a more diverse range of experience covering everything from
advanced first aid to treating
radiation sickness. What’s more, at
the end of it all I get to work on a
submarine, something I am really
looking forward to.”
