event moves to NEC in 2017
FIT Events Ltd, organisers of The
Fabricator Installer Trade (FIT)
Show has announced the dates and
venue of events to take place after
2016.
Colouring
the Easy Way
Colouredplas is an exciting new colour spray and
processing company, primarily aimed at selling
products direct to the glass and glazing industry.
Managing Director,
Allan Moore took the
decision to set up the
business over twelve
months ago due to
the increase demand
he was experiencing
through a sister company, who colour all type
of glass products.
Allan explains: “I have
worked in the Fenestration
industry for nearly 30 years,
fabricating and fitting windows and doors, cutting and
manufacturing glass products, repairing and maintaining all areas of glass, windows and doors, and I have
seen trends grow through
the development of technologies and innovation.
“Colouring of PVCu and
glass products has seen
a massive explosion and
uptake from the consumer
over recent years, because
of the need to make their
homes look and feel unique.
Technology advancements
in paints and sprays from
the paint manufacturers
have also driven the ability
for businesses to offer the
consumer more and more
colours for their homes than
ever before.
“Although still in its
infancy, Colouredplas has
been borne out of the need
to service the demand for
PVCu products, along with
my desire to service the industry and consumers with
a range of products that
they can order at the touch
of a button,” Allan adds.

Already familiar with the
needs of coloured products
and selling online, Allan
has developed a shopping
facility, which can be used
by trade to select any type
of PVC building product
coloured in any colour, delivered anywhere in the UK
within 7 days.

From 2017, The FIT Show moves to the
National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham, the UK’s premier exhibition
venue, taking place in Halls 6 and 7. May
23rd, 24th and 25th have been chosen for
2017, with the following FIT Show to take
place two years later at the same venue
on 21st, 22nd and 23rd May 2019.
The decision to move to the NEC comes
after extensive research to find another
venue as the event had outgrown its orig-
inal Telford location. A spokesman for the
organisers said: “A move was inevitable to
handle the continuing demand for exhibition space and to allow the development
of the event generally, including visitor
numbers. For now however, our focus and
priority in every respect remains the April
2016 FIT Show which takes place at The
International Centre Telford on 12th, 13th
and 14th April.”
