44 FEBRUARY 2014 PRO INSTALLER PRO BUSINESS www.proinstaller.co.uk GLAZERITE ANNOUNCES RECORD-BREAKING YEAR Glazerite Windows Ltd has announced its 2013 Q4 figures, reporting outstanding results - exceeding the £5million mark as it did in Q3 for only the second time in the company’s history. Having just 15 working days in December and hitting a record total of £5,163,229 in Q4 sales, meant that this was an even bigger achievement for the national trade fabricator. The product lines with large sales increases responsible for helping to reach the record quarter included: Vertical Sliding Sash Windows, Patio, Composite and BiFolding Doors. With Q4 figures comes 2013 figures, and looking at Glazerite’s increase of £3,111,408, or 21.07% in comparison to its 2012 results, it is easy to see that the company has had a fantastic year. Hitting the £5million plus milestone again, only two quarters after they broke the £4million barrier, resulted in a sales total of £17,876,458, and record figures for the company were once again achieved. But it is not all about highlighting sales. Glazerite emphasises that a lot of hard work and effort has gone into the year, thanks to its dedicated workforce and a loyal customer base. These factors meant that the company was able to deliver a total of 103,506 frames during the year, with the final year’s quarter averaging at a rate of over 2,550 delivered per week - peaking at 2,860 during the first week of December. FIT SHOW REWARDS INVESTMENT Glazerite’s Director, Jason Thompson, put the growth down to a couple of things: “Strong sales growth from our existing customer base coupled with some new accounts helped us achieve these record figures, we are extremely grateful to each and every customer who continue to place their trust in us. The FIT Show also gave us the platform to promote Glazerite to the wider market and our 2013 figures would suggest that this investment has been rewarded.” Glazerite is VEKA’s largest trade fabricator in the UK as well as a prominent and long-standing Network VEKA member, with a reputation for unsurpassed customer service as well as a comprehensive product range.
