Trojan Group’s vision in Vietnam Tony Chadwick, The Trojan Group, Group Managing Director, talks about how the business has experienced success through the last decade. “There is many reasons for our success, but the vital key factors are our patented innovation, strategic vision and Trojan Group’s ‘in-house’ manufacturing and quality control. “Our customers really value what we bring to their business and look to us as leaders in the window and door sector to continuously improve products year on year.” Trojan Group has maintained innovation coupled with a competitive pricing strategy despite rapidly changing market forces thanks to considerable strategic vision. “We operate in a global market and we need to protect our business and our custom- ers from the worst fluctuations,” continues Tony. “China manufacturing has become progressively less competitive and its only way to reduce cost is effectively lower product specification or higher production output per employee. “Thankfully, we have once again read the signs before they happened and opened a purpose-built manufacturing site in Vietnam protecting us from developments in the Chinese market. It means we have greater stability and control over our costs throughout the inevitable cycles of this developing economy compared to many other hardware manufacturers. There is no doubt that this is something our customers appreciate.” Tony adds. www.trojangroup.com VEKA Approved Installer Perfit Choice, which buys its frames from VEKA’s largest UK trade fabricator Glazerite, recently received a sales lead from the scheme and sold a house full of FS70 windows off the back of it. “If that wasn’t enough, I then sold the homeowner new fascias and soffits as well,” Perfit Choice’s Barry Cheadle said. “All my previous suppliers claimed to be able to pass on leads, but they simply never materialised. However, buying from Glazerite just gets better and better. The VEKA Approved Installer Scheme is excellent and has delivered what it stated it would.” Glazerite says ‘the holy grail’ of marketing support is often judged on the ability to provide free leads to customers, and although this is a claim frequently made in the industry it is rarely delivered. Glazerite, however, says it has a growing list of satisfied customers who benefit from a steady flow of leads.“There are somewhere in the region of 35,000 companies who are installing windows in the UK today,” Glazerite Director Jason Thomp- son said. “The Approved Installer initiative, which is free to join, reassures the homeowner that they are dealing with a professional company and makes the installers stand out from the competition.” Installers can also access professionally designed brochures, business cards, posters, pull-ups and everything in between, all available at a fraction of the standard price. glazeritewindows.co.uk
