CLADDING PROVING A CLASS ACT
Twinson premium cladding from Deeplas has been specified on
nursery and classroom buildings at three schools in Ireland.
Being made from a blend
of wood and PVCu, Twinson
premium cladding will ensure
that the schools benefit from
a durable, low-maintenance
facade that is water and
insect resistance.
Twinson premium cladding is
also 100% recyclable, which means
that it also offers the schools a
sustainable facade solution.
Cladding for all three new build
projects was specified by architects at the Southern Education
and Library Board (SELB), an
organisation that aims to ensure
that high quality education, youth
and library support services exist
throughout a number of district
council areas in Northern Ireland.

Suitable for fixing plasterboard,

A polyurethane, multipurpose, low expansion product, with a cure time of only a
few minutes, Dow INSTA-STICK MP allows
for plaster boards to be fixed just one hour
after use, removing the need for visible wall
fastenings.

The cladding was installed at
Annalong Primary School in Annalong, Bronte Primary School in
Banbridge and Drumadonnell Primary School in Moneyslane. It was
fitted by Deeplas approved stockist
Down PVC Systems Limited, based
in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.
As part of a rainscreen cladding
system, Twinson premium cladding provides weather performance benefits by allowing air to
constantly circulate through the
rear ventilated cavity. This is an
efficient method of discharging
moisture before it reaches the
outer structural wall, making it
possible for the schools to enjoy a
healthy indoor climate.
Twinson premium cladding from
Deeplas is manufactured using
wood from sustainable, continuously replanted forests that meet
PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification)
certification. This guarantees that
the product contains timber solely
from certified sustainable forests.
