Essex-based company Front Door is proud to say it sells ‘the cheapest quality doors
online.’ It has sold more than 450,000 of them and is still counting.
The business which supplies
throughout Essex, the Home
Counties and nationwide
(only some of Scotland),
offers composite doors and
works in partnership with
four of the UK’s top door
manufacturers – Door-Stop
International, Truedor, Solidor and Rock Door.
The doors are available to buy
online to the trade and the public’s specification on a supply only
basis. Fitting is available in certain
areas at an extra cost. Homeowners can take advantage of an easy
to use online design tool, selecting
their own colours and style of
hardware. They can even upload a
photo of their home to see exactly
how their new door will look on
their house. Typical prices for
doors start from around £500.00.
But some special offers mean
doors can be purchased for £399.
There is also an online measuring and fitting guide if customers want to fit their own door,
although Front Door does have a
number of fitters in certain areas
who will provide this service.
Company owner TJ said: “It is

“It’s such a straightforward transaction that most of the doors I
sell, I never actually need to speak
to anyone although we’re always
around if people have questions.

has been in the double glazing
business for 16 years, started Front
Door in 2013 as an alternative
venture. Now, he has a showroom
with 15 doors displayed and his
own website offering thousands of
door combinations which can all
be designed online.
He said: “One of the most
popular doors is a black door
with a white frame and chrome
hardware. We also have a supplier
(Truedor) who will specially mix
paint colours to RAL codes – one
customer ordered a canary yellow
door.”
