41 PRO INSTALLER AUGUST 2015 TRADE COUNTERS @proinstaller1 Trade Counter Spotlight: Polyframe Polyframe Halifax factory Overview Company Background Location Polyframe, one of the UK’s largest independent PVC trade fabricators, is transforming the way the industry buys windows and doors by offering the market wide choice in systems, reliable fast service and accessible pricing. As a result many fabricator-installers have been persuaded to unplug their machines and plug into Polyframe. Polyframe has pioneered a new business model and is a multi-system, multi-site and multi-material trade fabricator with a national trade centre network of Polyframe Trade Centres (PTCs). With the introduction of online ordering for composite doors, an added sales edge of a new high security cylinder, the acquisition of an aluminium factory and the Stockport branch moving to larger premises, Polyframe is paving the way for more growth. Established in 1992, Polyframe has grown rapidly throughout the recession by targeting small to medium size fabricators interested in unplugging their machines and plugging into Polyframe, and has continued its success in recent years by attracting fabricators of all sizes. Polyframe is unique in supplying – and being able to supply – fast growing trade businesses selling up to 1,000 frames a week at peak. This year, Polyframe expanded its portfolio by acquiring an aluminium fabricator. The G14 Fabricator of the Year now supplies windows and doors in eight systems from five state of the art factories, offering customers choice, quality and reliable service. Polyframe’s factories are based in Norwich, Halifax, Mansfield and Portad
