25 PRO INSTALLER AUGUST 2014 PRO NEWS @proinstaller1 ROOMS AND VIEWS WOW REDROW WITH LINIAR! Window manufacturer, Rooms and Views has been working with new property developers, Redrow Homes for 14 years – so the Chester company was its first choice for a new luxury homes development, ‘Abode’ in Buckley, aimed at the younger house buyer. Redrow’s designers wanted a combination of traditional and contemporary in one dwelling. The windows were critical so Redrow approached Rooms and Views to ask if it was possible to create the look they wanted. Rooms and Views thought of the Liniar flush sash PVCu window, and took a sample of the lead-free, energy-efficient window, foiled in flat grey for a modern edge, to Redrow. It is modelled on a traditional pre-1935 timber window style, with a z-section and two seals. The window sash fits flush to the frame for great aesthetics, unlike a ‘standard’ PVCu window. Made with Liniar’s multi-chambered PVCu profile, the flush sash offers a much higher thermal performance than timber, achieving a U-value of 1.3 W/m²k – and is virtually maintenance-free. ‘fits flush to the frame for great aesthetics’ Redrow even built a house within its head office to see what the windows would actually look like! The portal allows members to personalise brochures, poster and adverts etc and also offers items like vehicle graphics. We appreciated the fact that these van backs were offered as a subsidised service so we took the opportunity to update all four of our vans. By sending Network VEKA a picture of the finished vans, we’ll be rewarded with £100 back. “it’s a great talking point as people stop to ask our fitters why we have a picture of Steve Davis and also set us apart from all the double glazing companies with poorly designed vehicles. “We’ll be driving home the Network VEKA message of quality and service throughout Rugby and the wider area!” Network VEKA, 01282 473170, www.networkveka.co.uk
