CONSERVATORY SECURITY SELLS
Conservatory Outlet - one of the top 2% of fabricators in the UK by volume
- has broadened its product remit, presenting the Extreme 3
window locking system to its UK-wide network.

The Extreme 3 system is
designed to prevent attack in any
direction, with the heavy duty re-
inforced bolts securely locked into
the frame, creating, says the
company, 300% more con-
tact area than any other
shoot bolt on the market.
The design essentially
replicates the security
properties of a Vaultbolt
door locking system for use within
a window.
The patented Conservatory
Outlet system also incorporates
Ecoseal, which allows designers
the freedom to use larger
‘push out’ casements that will
comfortably sit on a 450mm
dwarf wall without the need for
top openers. The system works
to tightly pull in the sash against
the frame, creating superb
compression that can withstand
forcible attacks at any point
around the whole unit.
This is a proactive move for
Conservatory Outlet to develop
solutions that enhance home secu-
rity, as homeowners are becoming
increasingly savvy in seeking out
products that offer maximum
protection against break-ins. This
selling point has proven a real
hit with the Conservatory Outlet
Network, and 20 of its retail part-

ners have already opened their
doors to the product, offering it to
homeowners within their exclu-
sive trading patches located across
the country.

NEW FACTORY MEETS GROWTH NEEDS
The PatioMaster brand
continues to go from strength
to strength with one of its
key fabricators opening the
doors to an impressive new
factory. PatioMaster South
East, based in New Romney,
Kent, recently moved to the
purpose-built premises after
construction was completed
at the end of December. After
a smooth transition the new
offices and factory floor were
already up and running in
January.
“The move was all about
giving us room to increase
the scale of our manufactur-
ing process. As the company
has continued to flourish,
we simply outgrew our last
premises and made the
move as part of our greater
plans for growth and expan-
sion,” director Simon Spiers
explained.
“At 4,500 sq ft the cus-
tom-built factory is more
than twice the size of the
previous site. With a much
larger and more modern
space we have been able to
create an improved work-
ing environment for all our
staff, helping them to better
help our customers. We’re
still situated to reach all of
our existing customers but
are now more equipped
to meet their ever-growing
requirements.”

The original Lethal
Weapon franchise comprised
four feature films and was a
huge hit on the silver screen
movie from 1987 to 1998
with the first film grossing
$120 million at the box
office. The film focussed on
two mismatched detectives
from the Los Angeles Police
Department played by Holly-
wood big shots, Mel Gibson
and Danny Glover.
In 2016, some 18 years
after the success of the film
franchise, FOX TV pre-
miered a spin-off television
series of the same name.
After receiving a great
reception in America, ITV
purchased the series. It first
aired in the UK on Friday
3rd March at 9pm.
Checkatrade said it was a
prime opportunity for it to
capture the attention of an
estimated audience of 24.4
million.
