Range to be unveiled at
UK Construction Week
UK Construction Week
is pleased to announce
that power tool manufacturer Festool will be
showcasing its brand
new range of cordless
products at the Build
Show, one of nine
shows taking place at
the event this October.
Manufacturing power
tools since 1925, Festool
plans to showcase its latest
‘Unplugged’ range of precision-engineered products,
which work for 25% longer
between charges thanks to
their new 5.2Ah batteries.
Incorporating Festool’s tried
and tested brushless ECTEC motor technology, the
new range offers tradesmen a reliable and flexible
investment, as its universal
battery compatibility means
that older NiCd and NiMH
battery packs can be used
with the new machines.
Jonathan Burcham, Mar-
keting Manager at Festool,
commented: “Our new
cordless range focuses on
increased efficiency, intelligence and longer tool life,
offering the best value to
tradesmen. We can’t wait
to show the tools off at UK
Construction Week later this
year and look forward to
hearing the feedback from
the visitors.”
The Build Show is one of
nine events brought together under the umbrella of UK
Construction Week, taking
place at the Birmingham
NEC from 6 – 11 October
(with the trade days from
6 – 8 October). With over
1,000 exhibitors and 55,000
visitors, UK Construction
Week is set to be an event
not to be missed and is
completely free to attend.
UK Construction Week
will also host the hugely
successful Grand Designs
Live and the newly acquired
Timber Expo, along with the
Surface and Materials Show,
Kitchens & Bathroom Live,
Plant & Machinery Live, Energy 2015, HVAC 2015 and
Smart Buildings 2015.
Ribbon cut on new showroom

flagship showroom at
its Midlands base in
Minworth.
Attended by building and
glazing industry publications, staff, company
directors and customers,
a ribbon-cutting, overseen
by The VEKA UK Group
MD, Dave Jones officially
opened the showroom.
Welcoming all those in
attendance, Dave said: “It’s
a pleasure to present to
you the fantastic range of
products produced here at
Bowater Doors, including
the striking new range of
DUO Contemporary composite doors that many of you
will be seeing for the first
time. I’m particularly proud
to introduce them alongside
Bowater’s team of talented
staff who make each door,
to measure, here on the
premises.”

display, showcasing a diverse
range that includes specialist

Alan added: “Being able to
display our doors realistically and demonstrate how
they might look in a home
installation really allows the
products to speak for themselves. We had a small, ‘feature’ showroom before this,
but by expanding into areas
of previously redundant
office space, we can now tell
the complete Bowater Doors
story.”
