introduction of the Klip frame packer.
Designed to address the
problem of using traditional
horse shoe packers, the Klip
packer applies a spring lateral force to free up installers
hands, enabling the frame to
be fitted true into its cavity.
Traditional plastic packer fixings
can often get lost trying to line up
the window frame, falling down
the cavity of the brickwork.
Glazpart’s Klip frame packers comprise of two specialised
features; firstly, the packer is
formed in a horse shoe shape
which enables the installers to
position the frame to a ‘true fit’
by inserting the packers around
the screw fixings of the frame and
eliminates distortion as torque is
applied from screwing the frame
in securely.
Secondly, a ‘tab’ function has also
been included into the design of
the packer, and once the frame is
screwed in securely, the tab can
be clipped off and silicone can
be used to cover the packer edge.
The packer
is prevented
from falling
out and dropping into
the cavity, because of the ridged
design on the inside edge of the
packer.
The Klip packer can be purchased through any one of Glaz-

comes in six sizes,
1mm to 10mm. A minimum of
eight packers are needed around
the frame to ensure the frame is
fitted properly.
