Today, Jablite can announce that sales figures this year show a significant changeover to 200 grade EPS (expanded polystyrene) insulation for inverted roofs. “In the first quarter of 2014, Jablite 200 was 31% of our total inverted roof insulation sales. In 2013 it was just 1%”, says David Teasdale, Sales & Marketing Director. “This is clear evidence that the inverted roof insulation marketplace is changing over to 200 grade EPS because it really is the best choice for the majority of inverted roofs. “We provided detailed information about the compression performance of Jablite 200 insulation proving that over-specification does not make sense; it is not cost-effective and it increases the overall load on the roof,” says David. “It is gratifying to see that contractors and specifiers are looking at the facts to decide what specification is required for their project and, where appropriate, changing their previous buying choice.” Jablite supplies inverted flat roof insulation in 200 and 300 grade EPS in 1mm increments and offers a new Premium Jablite 200 grade Salisbury Flooring Offers New Boen Boflex Sports Floor Salisbury Hardwood Flooring reinforces its status as the UK’s leading flooring provider with the introduction of the new Boen Boflex Olympia sprung sports floor. The innovative product uses patented technology to achieve premium performance and is the first of its kind to use a floating structure. Assembled using a triple layered system, the Boflex Olympia consists of a real wood top layer, balancing softwood middle-layer lying at right angle to the top layer to increase stability and a bottom softwood under-layer. The 5.5mm wear top layer makes it extremely durable and gives it exceptional shock absorption abilities while the superb engineering and strategically angled middle layer give it the extreme capacity to withstand an unlimited load. Boflex Olympia flooring performs in all the right areas, boasting shock absorption of 60%, 2.9mm deformation and 97% ball bounce. This makes it the ideal flooring solution for any sports or multipurpose centre wanting to give athletes the chance to perform at their best. The total build height measures in at just 30mm while the floating installation system means the flooring can be installed over the top of existing floors. This makes the Boflex Olympia a highly unimposing conversion with a quick and convenient transition phase. The floating system also offers the potential for underfloor heating, an added comfort that is not a viable option when using conventional solid floors. Boen is renowned as one of the leading sports floor producers and suppliers in the world and plays an important role in the research and development ‘economical and environmentally friendly choice’ of new technologies. Boen clients can install products with peace of mind thanks to the company’s trademark guarantee which ensures the floor possesses the sufficient strength, durability and workmanship to sustain regular usage and traffic loads for a period of 25 years from the date of installation. Choosing a Boflex Olympia sprung sports floor is a practical, economical and environmentally friendly choice, the company exclusively using materials sourced from suppliers who belong to one or more forestry schemes or are working towards certification. http://www.shflooring. co.uk/sports-sprungfloors/ Facebook: https://www. facebook.com/salisbury. hardwoodflooring.7 Twitter: https://twitter. com/SHFlooring in low lambda material that gives the same excellent thermal and compression performance – but in a much thinner board. “Our aim is to provide specifiers with precise options to achieve their required thermal performance on a roof. We constantly for looking for ways to do that by innovating and extending our portfolio” says David. “The latest addition to our inverted roof family is a tapered insulation which eliminates the need of a screed layer to provide the drainage fall on the roof. We expect that to be our next success story in 2014.” Aire Valley Glass Is Solidor Installer Of The Month!
