Matthew 6:9-13 ( NIV ) This , then , is how you should pray : Our Father in heaven , hallowed be your name , Your kingdom come , your will be done on earth as it is in heaven . Give us today our daily bread . And forgive us our debts , as we also have forgiven our debtors .
Today , I recognize my complete need for God ’ s help to not just lead me away from all temptation , but also to keep me from the evil one who places temptations in my path .
Heavenly Father , You love and care for each of Your children . You are concerned for what we face each day . You know that we are weak on our own and need Your help to stay away from giving into the temptations that the evil one constantly throws at us . We can be assured that we do not have to give into temptation and know You are faithful to lead us away from them and the evil one . Thank You for this . According to Your Word and in the Name of Jesus , Your Son , I pray , AMEN .
