Matthew 6:9-13 ( NIV ) This , then , is how you should pray : Our Father in heaven , hallowed be your name , Your kingdom come , your will be done on earth as it is in heaven . Give us today our daily bread . And forgive us our debts , as we also have forgiven our debtors .
Today , I am reminded to constantly practice forgiveness in my life towards others . If I forgive , I have God ’ s promise that I too will be forgiven . To be His child is to be like Him , therefore , always being ready and willing to forgive .
Father in Heaven , I need Your help to forgive . I am so thankful for Your forgiveness toward me and others . Let this scripture be the motivation I need to forgive and do so immediately . Help me to forgive anyone who has trespassed against me and to release them so , they too can find Your forgiveness . In the Name of Jesus , Your Son , AMEN .
