Psalm 141:2 ( NIV ) May my prayer be set before you like incense ; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice .
Today , I recognize that prayer is like incense that rises to God . Just as they offered sacrifices to God in the Old Testament , I offer my prayer and praise to Him in the morning and evening . In the morning , I recognize His Lordship over my day . In the evening , I thank Him for His goodness throughout my day .
Oh Lord , my God , I praise and worship You for who You are . You are my Lord and Saviour . I praise You for Your goodness , Your mercy , Your love , and Your faithfulness . Thank You for Your loving kindness and I lift my hands to You indicating my surrender to Your Lordship in my life . I rejoice that You are my Lord and I put my trust in You today . In Jesus ’ Name , AMEN .
