sophomores, juniors, and seniors seeking advanced studies in

Current Alabama 9th or 10th graders can apply. Many people
ask, “Do I have to be a ‘genius’ to be accepted to ASMS?”
Answer: Absolutely NOT! ASMS is made up of students who are
intelligent and work hard for academic success. In 2016, the 73
ASMS grads earned $12 million in merit-based scholarships with
an ACT composite class average of 29.0.
