his story
Jackson is a member of the National Honor Society and the
Spanish Honor Society, an AP Scholar, and recipient of the
Jimmy Hitchcock Certificate. Football is Jackson’s passion. He
has been designated as the Top Performing Lineman at ACA
for two consecutive years, and was awarded the All-Metro
Honorable Mention. He also plays both basketball and baseball.
When asked who has provided the most inspiration in his life,
Jackson answered, “My Paw Paw. He always believed in me and
told me I was destined for great things.” Jackson wants to be
remembered as “a Christ-like leader who tried to do the right
thing, regardless of popularity.”
what’s next
Jackson wants to pursue a career in sports medicine. He ex-
plains, “I really enjoy sports, and this is a field that allows me to
combine my love of sports with my interest in medicine.”
PG (parental guidance) rating
Jackson is appreciative of the loving Christian environment his
parents have raised him in. He adds, “They have also supported
me and been involved in any sport I’ve ever played.” He is also
very proud of his brother, sharing, “My Type 1 diabetic brother
doesn’t let it impact his life or the things he wants to accom-

parents’ perspective
Tammy and Sean remark, “Jackson is a hard worker, dedicated, loy-
al, and honest. He isn’t afraid to walk a different path, even if it isn’t
the popular one. We have always stressed to all our kids to set goals
and don’t be too proud or ashamed to ask for help if needed.”
parent-to-parent
“Don’t be afraid to let your child struggle or even fail.
Life is full of adversity. Learning how to cope with it early
will benefit them later in life when things get tough or don’t turn
out the way they hoped or planned.”
