“Choose with no regret.” Clare elaborates, “Living with this
motto helps me to never second guess myself or my decisions
and know that every choice I make is a choice for the best.”
her story
Clare is currently the only ninth grade AP student at Montgom-
ery Catholic, an academic achievement she is rightfully proud
of. She is an Honors student, and has already been extended
scholarship offers from Huntingdon College and the Knights of
Columbus Council. Clare is an instrumental member of several
organizations at Montgomery Catholic, including Young Wom-
en’s Leadership, Youth Judicial, the Fellowship of Christian Ath-
letes, and the Trivia Team. Clare’s end goal in all that she does
is being “remembered as a very confident and modest person.”
She adds, “I want people to remember me as an open-minded
person who was accepting of all people. I want to be a long-last-
ing inspiration for everyone I encounter.”
what’s next
“I want to be an actor. As an actor, I want to impact people
positively and become a role model for other people, just as the
people I’ve met and look up to have been for me.”

“My household is constantly the scene of smiles and laughing
fits. This humor extends to my family’s ability to go with the
flow and be able to handle any obstacle with a light heart.”

parents’ perspective
David and Diane admire Clare’s outgoing personality, explaining,
“Clare is far more outgoing and friendly than either of us. We have
no idea where she got it from; we remember ourselves as being
wallflowers.” They add, “She has a sense of direction and purpose
even at her young age. She is remarkably well rounded with strong
participation in academics, sports, community, and faith.”
parent-to-parent
David and Diane share their simple yet effective advice
with other parents: “Let them be. Let them discover. Try.
Fail. Try again. Succeed.”
