St. Paul’s Episcopal School Students Named U.S. Presidential Scholars Program Candidates Caroline Scott and Daly Wettermark, graduating seniors at St. Paul’s Episcopal School, have been named as candidates in the 2015 United States Presidential Scholars Program. The Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors. Each year up to 141 students are named as U.S. Presidential Scholars. Only 3,900 high school seniors have achieved the honor of being selected as candidates for this program. Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character, and involvement in community and school activities. The Commission on Presidential Scholars, appointed by the President, will make the final selection of the Scholars. The U.S. Department of Education will announce the scholars in May. www.potentialmagazine.com 25
