Ghotit Real Writer
Equipped with a more intuitive spell checker, Ghotit
Real Writer is designed to “think like a dyslexic
person.” Spelling, grammar and punctuation errors
are highlighted and suggestions are given to improve
the text. We found the app’s ability to catch frequently
confused words to be extra helpful!
OUR PARTIES ARE ROCKIN!
Voice Dream Reader
Not only will this app read text aloud to you (you can
even choose from many different voices!), it
proofreads your own writing aloud so that errors are
easier to identify. It also suggests improvements and
creates outlines for better organization.

SnapType
Created by the parents of a child with dyslexia and
dysgraphia, Modmath provides a pencil-free platform
to make solving problems easier. The student can
choose the appropriate symbols and numbers and
place them on virtual graph paper, ensuring that
every problem stays lined up and legible. Completed
documents can be saved in a searchable library.

N!
A worksheet wonder for students with dysgraphia,
SnapType enables users to take photos of worksheets
with their devices. Text can then be added to the document via the device’s keyboard, eliminating legibility
issues that can slow students down.
Dyslexia Toolbox

SA F E. C L
Created “by dyslexics, for dyslexics,” this app allows
students to use their phones to add a digital overlay
onto pages of text. The student can then adjust the
background color and typeface, which many dyslexics
find helpful in increasing readability. Additional
features also include a document reader that can read
text aloud to the user.
