from the publisher contributors Back to school, already?! What happened to the “lazy days of publisher Pam Mashburn summer?” After high school graduation month was over, we thought life would go editor slower…nope! We accelerated right into Jennifer Kornegay college-orientation weekend, vacay and art director very long To-Do Lists. Heather Cooper I’m so thankful for our Potential parent council, readers and experts (and yes! Some are “all of the above”). I’ve gotten so many great ideas and super great advice to help me get organized and on track! My oldest, and his beard (ugh!) are moving onto college—I’ll miss him (not the beard) terribly, but I’m discovering that our parenting doesn’t stop. It just transitions from being a coach to more of an advisor. My younger two are still being coached with only the occasional need for us to fall back into the cop role, but at least they benefit from having a little wiser parents.
